<333 Also, yes that is a binky and yes it has carebears on it.
i’m just going to leave this here.
because it’s pretty much the most gangster shit i’ve ever seen in my entire life.
(photo not credited—or, um, credited as “amazon indian mother breastfeeding child,” which, you know, not super helpful—found on the beautiful breastfeeding facebook page, which is worth a peek if you’re into that sort of thing.)

mynaturalpregnancy said: i bet no people give her shit for feeding her kid in public! This is a Kayapó mother and child from the Brazilian Amazon Rainforest and while she might not get shit for breast-feeding in public, her entire people is being forcibly evicted from their ancestral homelands in order to make way for the massive Belo Monte Dam, which will make thousands of indigenous Brazilians homeless while simultaneously destroying a large part of what is commonly referred to as the lungs of the world.
In other words, western moral codes aren’t currently this mother’s biggest concern.
Why can’t they just leave nature alone and let indigenous people be? It’s just disgusting and makes me so angry.

3/28/2012 - WASHINGTON (AFNS) — The Senate confirmed Air Force Lt. Gen. Janet Wolfenbarger for promotion March 26, making her the first female four-star general in Air Force history.
Wolfenbarger currently serves as the military deputy in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition here and she is one of four female lieutenant generals in the Air Force.
“This is an historic occasion for the Air Force,” said Secretary of the Air Force Michael B. Donley. “General Wolfenbarger’s 32 years of service, highlighted by extraordinary leadership and devotion to duty, make her exceptionally qualified for this senior position and to serve as the next commander of Air Force Materiel Command.”
Being tender and open is beautiful. As a woman, I feel continually shhh’ed. Too sensitive. Too mushy. Too wishy washy. Blah blah. Don’t let someone steal your tenderness. Don’t allow the coldness and fear of others to tarnish your perfectly vulnerable beating heart. Nothing is more powerful than allowing yourself to truly be affected by things. Whether it’s a song, a stranger, a mountain, a rain drop, a tea kettle, an article, a sentence, a footstep… feel it all – look around you. All of this is for you. Take it and have gratitude. Give it and feel love.
this!!

Also, probably you are white. And almost certainly a howling racist.
If you basically go around stanning for a group of states who started a fucking war just to defend their “right” to own other human beings and treat them like animals, you either don’t know your history or you’re willfully ignoring it. “I reject your reality and substitute my own” is not a valid theory of historical studies, BTW, which is what any attempt to justify, defend, venerate, or otherwise honor this flag is.
I’m a U.S. Southerner. I’m also white. While this flag will never hold the same horrifying and bloody meaning for me as it does for PoC, especially those who are Black, it still is a symbol of everything I hate, everything that makes me ashamed (rightfully) of the history of my home.
To trot it around as though it’s not a symbol of evil - yes, a system based on treating other human beings worse than you treat COWS is evil and defending that system is evil - is offensive.
So if you go around with this flag and act like it’s okay? Like it’s not clearly showing that you regard Black people as not worthy of any respect, then you are EVERYTHING that’s wrong with this entire country. I’m calling you out, fellow white people. This is not okay. Stop doing it. Stop justifying it. It is beyond any justification.
come hang out on MyFreeCams and try to guess what’s under the dress ;)
